Department of Public Health Urges
Residents to Get Flu Vaccines
As flu season approaches, the Saint Louis County Department of Public Health (DPH) is encouraging residents to get vaccinated this fall.
Immunizations remain the most effective way to reduce the spread of viruses, protecting individuals, families, and the entire community from severe illness and hospitalization.
“Getting your flu vaccine is a simple step that can protect you and your loved ones from serious
Illness,” said County Executive Dr. Sam Page. “Let’s work together to safeguard our entire community and help prevent the spread of the flu.”
Saint Louis County residents can receive influenza vaccines at all three health centers Monday- Friday, 8:30–10:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m.

“Vaccinations are crucial in preventing outbreaks and maintaining the health of our communities,” said Dr. Kanika Cunningham, director of DPH. “The flu poses significant risks, especially to our most vulnerable populations, including the elderly, young children, and those\ with chronic conditions. By getting vaccinated, we can all play a part in keeping our communities safe.”
