Understanding Memory Loss is the core education program of the Alzheimer’s Association, St. Louis Chapter. This program provides a thorough overview of memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s disease while including information about research, treatments and how to get a diagnosis. Friday, Dec. 4

The Greater North County Chamber of Commerce will holds its annual Nite of Stars Holiday Gala at the Paul Detrick Auditorium, 11133 Dunn Road. The event runs  6:30 until 11 p.m. Tickets are  $60 per person and  includes dinner, an open bar, a holiday music performance, a silent auction and the chance to win $5,000   Call the chamber office at 314-831-3500 to make reservations or go online at www.greaternorthcountychamber.com.

Saturday, Dec. 5

Breakfast with Santa at St. Angela Merici, 3860 N. Highway 67 , Florissant, from 9 am-noon in the school gym. Breakfast, games & crafts, a photo with Santa, and “Santa’s Workshop” are all part of the fun! Tickets are $5 per person (children 2 and under are free). Call (830-2509) or (838-6743).
