Florissant Holds ribbon cutting

For new Look Bangert Pool

The City of Florissant held the opening of Bangert Pool with a ribbon cutting ceremony held on Monday, July 8at 275 S New Florissant Rd. The pool is located right next to the St. Louis County Library.

Thanks to the hard work of Jost Builders, Westport Pools, and project Foreman, Albert Nance for making this project possible. City staff has also been working very hard in so many ways to get this pool opened. The Florissant Fish Swim Team has a new place to call home.

This 10 million dollar general obligation bond passed under “Proposition A” adding a small tax for residents. This has been a long time in the making and we are very excited to show this beautiful Aquatic Center off to our residents.

Providing modern and upgraded aquatic recreational facilities enhances the overall desirability of Florissant as a great place to live and raise a family. It will also directly contribute to the health and wellness for users of all ages.

The pool will be open for business starting on July 8 for residents and non-residents.
