In celebration of Juneteenth, Councilwomen Shalonda Webb and Rita Days will present “The State of Us,” a symposium dedicated to

June 13, 2024, from 10:30 to 1:30 at the JFK Community Center, Florissant

      “The State of Us” symposium will explore the current conditions and future prospects of our health, wealth, education, and public safety. This important gathering aims to foster an open and constructive dialogue among community members, leaders, and experts, focusing on solutions and strategies for improvement. Featured discussions include:

Health:

Addressing healthcare disparities and promoting equitable access to medical services.

Wealth:

Tackling economic challenges and opportunities for financial empowerment.

Education:

Enhancing educational outcomes and access for all community members. Public Safety Improving safety and security through community collaboration and effective policies.
