Rotary Club Offers Singing Valentines

The Lambert Airport Rotary Club is offering lovers an opportunity to send a singing Valentine.

This is a formally attired singing quartet delivering either a red and white arrangement of flowers in a vase, or a long-stem cookie box. The $50 singing floral Valentines can be delivered anywhere in the North County area or St. Charles County. Each order includes delivery with a personal serenade by members of the University Singers from UMSL, and the flowers or “flower-shaped” cookies. Each gift is accented with greens and a red silk bow.

The Valentines can be ordered for delivery on Friday afternoon and evening, Feb. 13, or mid-day on Valentine’s Day, Saturday, Feb. 14. They can be delivered to homes or places of employment.

The deadline for ordering is Friday, Feb. 6 by calling Pat Baucom at 314-872-4411. Proceeds from the Valentine program will benefit the University Singers, and community activities of the Rotary Club.

The Lambert Airport Rotary Club and its members are part of Rotary International’s 32,000 clubs with 1.2 million members in 166 countries. The Club meets every Friday for lunch at the Overland Park Holiday Inn in Woodson Terrace.
