Community Development Planners

Florissant has appointed Retail Strategies, the leading national community development firm, to develop and execute a tailored retail recruitment plan. This partnership will be essential in continuing the city’s growth in retail and commercial business. “Retail Strategies shows a great level of commitment to the cities they represent,” said Patrick Mulcahy, economic development director of Florissant. “City leaders are excited to have a team of real estate experts implementing a customized retail recruitment plan based on needs in our market. The partnership will focus on defining the retail trade area and highlight opportunities for development and business recruitment. Additionally, Kam South, portfolio director, and Jack Blankenship, retail development coordinator at Retail Strategies, will proactively reach out to potential businesses, property owners, brokers and developers on behalf of the city.
