Senior residents of Florissant are invited to a Town Hall Meeting for Senior Citizens Thursday, Sept. 17. from 9 to 11 a.m. at the James J. Eagan Center. A free breakfast will be served.
In addition to the remarks from Mayor Thomas P. Schneider, seniors will hear from representatives of the Florissant Fire Department and City of Florissant department heads. Joining them will be personnel from the Hazelwood and Ferguson-Florissant School Districts, St. Louis County Library, Mid-East Area Agency on Aging, Chamber of Commerce, AARP, OASIS, the Veterans Administration, the County Older Resident Program, Christian Hospital, the Center for Hearing & Speech, the Community Action Agency and CLAIM.
This is an opportunity to find out what’s going on for senior citizens in Florissant. Residents should call the Florissant Senior Office at 314-839-7605 to make breakfast reservations for this event.
