Mayor Tim Lowery along with the Florissant Valley of Flowers, Florissant Old Town Partners and Old St. Ferdinand Shrine have announced the 2nd Annual Miracle on St. Francois Street will be held Saturday, Nov. 26 from noon to 6:30 p.m. in Historic Old Town . City Hall will have a Jingle Run for kids 12 and under that will start at 12:30 p.m. on Boone Street.
Admission is to bring a letter to Santa. Music by Big Papa G will be from 12 to 5 p.m. Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus will be from 2:30. to 4:30 p.m., along with pony rides and a petting zoo, sweet reads from 12 to 6 p.m. and crafts from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Also, available will be free trolley rides between Florissant City Hall to the VFW Post 4105, Retail, Crafts and Food Vendors on rue St. Francois will be available from 12 to 6 p.m.The VFW Post 4105 will have live music performed by LA Dance Performance from 1-2 p.m., Mark Rice from 2 to 3 followed by Rita Sexto & John Caravelli from 3-4 p.m..
The Old St. Ferdinand Shrine will host the popular Tablescapes at a new location for this year at Jess & Co. located at 627 St. Francois Street. Admission will be $5 at the door. There will be raffles for gift baskets, Christmas décor and more. Stop by between 5-7 p.m. to meet Trish Gazell from 102.5 FM KEZK, St Louis’ official Christmas station.
There will be a golf cart parade that will start at 5:30 p.m. and at the conclusion of the golf cart parade there will be the traditional tree lighting ceremony with Christmas Carols being performed in front of City Hall before the tree lighting event.
