A FEMA disaster recovery center will open – for five days only – on Monday, Aug. 15, in Hazelwood (St. Louis County) to provide one-on-one assistance to people directly affected by the July 25—28 flooding and severe storms.
The recovery center will then relocate. A new announcement will be made soon. Recovery specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will provide information on available services, explain assistance programs and help survivors complete or check the status of their applications.
The disaster recovery center location is:
Hazelwood Civic Center. 8969 Dunn Road Hazelwood, MO 63042
Open Five Days Only: Monday, Aug. 15, 2 p.m.–7 p.m. Then: Tuesday—Friday, 8 a.m.–7 p.m.
People directly affected by flooding in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County may visit the recovery center. Before visiting the center, apply with FEMA online at DisasterAssistance.gov or call 800-621-FEMA (3362).
