2021 Valley of Flowers
May be ‘Reshaped’
The Valley of Flowers Committee stating that 2021 is a pivotal year for the Valley of Flowers Festival advised there could be some changes to the festival this year.
Many recall Florissant’s “first festival of spring” was postponed last year due to the pandemic, and was rescheduled for late summer in 2020, but that date had to be cancelled as well.
The Valley of Flowers Committee is already beginning work on the 2021 activities in conjunction with the City of Florissant, but because of the ongoing issues and restrictions of Covid-19, the festival activities may have to be “reshaped.”
2021 marks Missouri’s Bicentennial and the VOF theme for this year is “Past. Present. Future.” There will be updates regarding plans for the festival and VOF queen candidates.
