3rd Local Festival Cancelled in North County

THE 23RD ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL HAS BEEN CANCELED FOR THIS YEAR

Mayor Tim Lowery announced, after being informed by the Fall Festival organizers and the members of Old Town Partners, that the decision has been made to cancel the 23rd Annual Fall Festival. It was scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 11.

Mayor Lower stated that was a very difficult decision to make, however, as the current COVID-19 pandemic situation continues and with the rise in cases in the area, the decision was made to cancel the event for this year to ensure the

safety and well-being of everyone. Also current county restrictions don’t allow for the size crowds that the Fall Festival usually draws along rue St. Francois.

The current pandemic situation remains fluid. The Fall Festival organizers and the members of Old Town Partners made this decision because keeping everyone safe and healthy is the ultimate priority.
