SSM Dedicates New East Medical Office Building on DePaul Campus
SSM DePaul dedicated its new $14 million East Medical Office Building on the DePaul campus on Nov. 28. This new four-story, 80,000 square feet structure is connected to the hospital and is integrated into a new main entrance atrium for DePaul’s three medical office buildings. The centerpiece of the building is a striking, glass-enclosed atrium lobby with skylights, cove ceilings and a waterfall.
The new East Medical Office Building will be home to multiple clinics and physician offices, a physical and occupational rehab center and a new 15,000 square-feet ambulatory surgery center. This is the first ambulatory surgery center built on a hospital campus in the St. Louis-area.
DePaul brought in Minnesota developer, Frauenshuh HealthCare Real Estate Solutions to develop the project. Frauenshuh will also own, manage and lease the building on the DePaul campus.
