St. Ferdinand Shrine Grounds will be hosting many activities during the Old Town Fall Festival including a. Ggigantic book sale, both inside the schoolhouse and outside on the grounds of the Shrine.

There will be books for everyone and the price is right –   $4 per bag.   Books of all types are available and there are many and a variety of  books available. All proceeds from the book sale go towards the upkeep of the Shrine.

Other Shrine sponsored activities that day include tours of the Shrine including viewing the archeological dig site, at 2 p.m. The North County Jazz Band will be performing plus Shrine volunteers  will be serving French Onion Soup and French Beignets.  Tours of the Shrine will be available.

Other activities on the Shrine Grounds will be hosted by Florissant Valley Junior College and the Northern Arts Council.  There will be many activities including art and photo exhibits, the Florissant Valley Junior College Chorus, tee- shirt silk-screening, pottery demonstrations and refreshments.
