50 Years of Service on Saturday, June 29!

Florissant VFW 50 years

Florissant Valley Memorial VFW Post 4105 celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, June 29. There was an awards ceremony at 1p.m., POW MIA presentation, bench dedication, pot luck lunch, snacks, and drink specials throughout the day, all followed up with The John Bourgeois Band on Saturday evening. Service Officers and VFW Recruiters were also on hand.

Chartered on July 2, 1969, Florissant Valley Memorial VFW Post 4105 became a part of the best city in America and started the journey of serving those who served. Their mission is to serve veterans, the military, and the community.

“No One Does More for Veterans” is the motto of the VFW and it is shown daily through partnerships with the Auxiliary, the Friends of Veterans, and the City of Florissant.
