In the early days the Florissant French would open the shutters as an invitation to the neighbors and friends to stop in for the chicken bouillon.

The Historical Society continues the tradition with entertainment by the Buckhannon Brothers “fiddlin” the good old French tunes. Guests may enjoy the delicious bouillon prepared in the old French way along with a variety of tasty snacks. Tours of Taille will also be available.

Tickets are $10 per person and reservations are necessary. The tickets will be held at the door. Reservations may be made by calling Vicky, 314-496-22319 or Mary Kay, 314-409-9478 or by sending a check to the Florissant Valley Historical Society, P.O.Box 298, Florissant, MO 63032.
