Gruden Replacing Ranting Kornheiser Should Be Good For Monday Night Football

BY RANDY GARDNER
How many of you watch a TV show or don’t watch a show particularly sports because of the announcers, whether you like them or you hate them?

I would have to say that a lot of you including myself have changed the tune about watching Monday Night Football now that John Madden and Al Michaels do the Sunday Night game.

I am referencing Tony Kornheiser who will no longer be in the booth. Over the years, it has been very hard to listen to him put his input in on a game that seems so far from him.
Sometimes his rants and raves are good but they just don’t fit. It’s all over now as he has stepped down saying it was due to the dislike of all of the traveling on planes and there is a lot of that this year on NFL Monday Night Football.

Steeping in to take his place is a novice at this but I think he will do very well and that is coach Jon Gruden formerly of the Tampa Bay Bucs. This guy has great knowledge of the game and is very intense and knows the game inside and out. This should be a great year for Monday night football.

Why Would Rans Cut Tinaisamoa

On the Rams front it was weird to see the Rams release Linebacker Pisa Tinaisamoa, this guy was one of the hardest working guys on the team. I know he has suffered from a lot of injuries over the past few years but who hasn’t.

I think there is going to be such a different look and attitude around the Rams team this year; you won’t even notice them as the Rams of old. I think it is going to be a big year for the guys.

I actually am looking forward to seeing Randy McMichael jump back into the lineup, watch and see, he will be a major force this year.

It is so nice to sit down and watch the Cardinals on days when it is nice and sunny outside. It makes it really feel like summer. Whether they are winning or losing, who cares, it is just the whole aura of being summertime in St. Louis. There are no colors that go together like the red and white of the Cards with a little yellow splashed in there.

The team has been very up and down this year with even Tony LaRussa shouldering some of the blame, That might be a first but like I always say, it is a long season, sit back and enjoy the ride.

Rage Off to a 6-2 Start

The River City Rage are doing great this year as they are now 6-2 and heading for the playoffs. The team under Coach Rick Richards has just been pummeling teams and leaving marks on them as they head to a league championship.

The team is on the road here for a stretch but will be back at the Family Arena for the final run at the championship. Find out more at ragefootball.com
