Bret Berigan, public relations manager of Christian Hospital, has been named the chairman of the Greater North County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors for 2018. Berigan was inducted at the 2018 Installation and Awards Luncheon held the Christian Hospital Atrium on Jan. 17.

Berigan served as the 2017 chamber’s board vice-chair. He has been involved with the Greater North County Chamber since 1996, and helped form the organization’s first marketing/public relations committee, and has served several terms on the chamber board during the years.

Berigan has been with Christian Hospital since 1996 and has been with the BJC HealthCare since 1990. Prior to that he was a travel writer and editor for five years with the AAA-Auto Club of Missouri. He graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and has a master’s degree in health service management from Webster University.

“It’s truly an honor and privilege to serve as chair for the Greater North County Chamber. I have been involved with the chamber since 1996 and will work very hard this year on behalf of our membership to uphold the chamber’s commitment to serve as the ‘Voice of Business’ that tirelessly promotes the economic development and quality of life in North County,” stated Berigan.

Berigan also served for several years as voluntary public relations director for the North Star District of the Boy Scouts of America – Greater St. Louis Area Council. He is an avid gardener, photographer and fitness enthusiast. Bret and his wife, Julie, have two sons, Blake, 28, and Benton, 25.
