Hazelwood Mayor is New President of Missouri Municipal League

The Missouri Municipal League (MML) elected City of Hazelwood Mayor Matthew G. Robinson as President during its annual conference in Osage Beach, Mo.

Mayor Robinson was elected to the MML Board of Directors in 2013. He has served as Chair and as a member of the Resolutions Committee and as MML’s Vice President.

During his three terms as the City of Hazelwood’s Mayor, Robinson has continued to serve on several National League of Cities (NLC) committees, as well as on the Executive Board of the St. Louis County Municipal League and on the Board of North County Inc.

Mayor Robinson entered local politics in 1994 when he was elected to the Hazelwood City Council for Ward 1. He served in this capacity for 15 years until he was elected Mayor in 2009.
