Catholic Schools Send Help & Hope to Hurricane Victims

Fed of Catholic Schools logo   The Federation of Catholic Schools are banning together to send “Help & Hope” to victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.

Students at the Catholic elementary schools in North County are participating in various fundraising efforts to support relief efforts. Supporting schools include: Blessed Teresa of Calcutta, Christ Light of the Nations, Holy Spirit, Holy Trinity, Our Lady of Guadalupe, Sacred Heart, St. Ann, St. Ferdinand, St. Norbert, St. Rose Philippine Duchesne, and Special Education Academy at St. Sabina.

With pocket change collections, dress down days, and other creative events and ideas, each school is committed to sending funds to Catholic Charities to HELP along with prayers of HOPE to the affected communities.

SSM Health DePaul Hospital is joining the schools’ efforts and hosting a group of students on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 9:30 a.m. to pool all funds raised by each school into one big donation to Catholic Charities for hurricane victims.
