Anyone is welcome to shred important papers to protect themselves and loved ones from identify theft at a paper shredding and recycling event on Saturday, July 22 at the Historic Twillman House from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The shredding is free. The Twillman House is located at 11840 Bellefontaine Rd. in Spanish Lake, MO 63138.

The Spanish Lake Community Association in partnership with Start Performers Realtors are sponsoring the event.

Paper with rubber bands, clips, and staples are accepted. No hard cover books accepted.

The Twillman House is a historic home, more than 150 years old, refurbished by the Spanish Lake Community Association for use as a community center. The historic home was opened to the public in July 1, 2017.
