Warrants Issued for Suspect in Several Vehicle Fires

The Florissant Police Department announced that warrants were issued Sunday, June 1, for Adam Grant by the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for three counts of Knowingly Burning.

On Saturday, May 31 at approximately 5 a.m., the Florissant Police Department responded to a report of three vehicles on fire in the 3100 block of Cross Keys Place and the 13700 block of New Halls Ferry Road. After discovering evidence accidentally left by the suspect at the scene, detectives with the Florissant Police Department were able to identify Grant as the suspect and take him into custody. Once in custody, Grant confessed to setting the vehicles on fire.

Grant was born in 1995 and lives in Florissant on New Halls Ferry Rd, near where the fires were set.

Adam_GrantGrant has been transferred to the St. Louis County Jail, where he is being held on a $50,000.00 bond.
