Warming Shelter Extends Services

St. Louis County and The Salvation Army extended the dates of operation for the Warming Shelter until March 20 due to the cold weather this week. The Shelter is located at 10740 Page Avenue, 63132, in The Salvation Army Family Haven.

The shelter operates 24/7 and accommodates up 48 individuals. It also provides meals, laundry facilities, and case management services for those in need of housing.  For more information, please visit: www.stlouisco.com/HealthandWellness/HumanServices.

“The Salvation Army Midland Division knows the immediate need for families and individuals to get out of the dangerously cold temperatures,” said Lt. Colonel Dan Jennings, The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Commander. “We appreciate St. Louis County partnering with The Salvation Army to assist our community.”

County Executive Steve Stenger said. “St. Louis County and The Salvation Army are providing professional services to our most vulnerable residents this winter, and we will continue to operate as long as those services are needed.”
