Senior Citizen Christmas Dance
The City of Florissant is sponsoring a Senior Citizen’s Dance for residents and non-residents on Dec. 2 from 7:00pm – 10:00 pm at JJE Civic Center.
Tickets are $8.00 each for residents and non-residents if purchased prior to the dance and $10.00 at the door.
Ticket price includes admission, entertainment and light snacks. Beer, wine & soda are available for purchase. The 10-piece St. Charles Big Band will play dance music.
Tickets are sold in the Senior Office in Florissant City Hall. All residents and non-residents are invited. Call the Senior Office, 839-7605, for more information.
Senior Citizen Christmas Trip
The Florissant Senior Office’s Conservatory Concert and Luncheon outing is Tuesday, Dec. 6 from 9:15am – 1:30pm. Residents and non-residents can purchase tickets in the Senior Office in Florissant City Hall. The cost is $35.00 for residents and $37.00 for non-residents, and tickets went on sale Nov. 11.
The price includes a private Christmas Concert by the Confluence Chamber Orchestra at the beautiful The Conservatory on St. Charles Main Street. A lunch of chicken cordon bleu with rice, garden salad & scrumptious peach pie al a mode follows at the historic, Diner’s Choice Awarded Mother-In-Law House.

Our Lady of the Snows Tour
Florissant Senior Office is sponsoring a holiday visit to the Way of Lights Christmas Display at Our Lady of the Snows on Dec. 13. The cost is $29.00 residents, $31.00 non-residents and includes transportation, donation to the Shrine for the lights, and dinner at the Famous Shrine Restaurant. The trip is from 3:45pm – 9:00pm and features a drive through the lighting display focusing on the Birth of Christ.
Ticket sales began on Tuesday, Nov. 15 and were only sold to residents with a current resident card until Wednesday, Nov. 16, when any remaining tickets will be sold to residents AND non-residents. Tickets can be purchased in the Senior Office in Florissant City Hall. Call the Senior Office at 839-7605, for ticket availability or more information.
