Mayor Thomas P. Schneider was the guest speaker at the annual Memorial Day Ceremony that was hosted by the organization the Missouri State Society Daughters of the American Revolution on Monday, May 30^t. Over 200 people were in attendance for a full ceremony including a color guard and a 21 gun salute as well as a bagpipe player with a flower laying component that was held at the historic Cold Water Creek Cemetery.

Also that same day was the annual Memorial Day Ceremony that was held at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Obelisk at the entrance to Koch Park which was also very well attended.

Mayor Schneider and Council members Tim Jones, Jeff Caputa and Jackie Pagano joined members of the VFW, Vietnam Veterans of America, Korean War Veterans, and American Legion were on hand to pay tribute to all who have been willing to go in harms way in military service to preserve and protect our country.

Mayor Schneider is presented with a certificate of appreciation from Susan Russ with DAR.
