The City of Florissant and the Florissant Fine Arts Council announced the lineup for the free outdoor concert series ‘Music Under the Stars.’ The July 4^th performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and the October 9^th performances will be held at 1 and 3 p.m. Otherwise all the concerts will begin at 7 p.m. The tentative schedule is as follows:

   Monday, July 4: Northwinds Concert Band followed by fireworks at Florissant Valley Park.

   Saturday, July 9: SSJ Rock & Roll Show Band at St. Ferdinand Park

   Saturday, July 16: Coco Soul and her band (motown, soul, disco, jazz and R&B) at St. Ferdinand Park

Saturday, July 23: Boeing Employees Concert Band with Celebration Barb ership Quartet at St. Ferdinand Park

Saturday, July 30: Butch Wax & The Hollywoods with Theo Peoples from The Four Tops at St. Ferdinand Park

Saturday, Aug. 6: SmashBand Superhits with Smash live on stage at St. Ferdinand Park

Saturday, Aug. 13: Billy Peek Band at St. Ferdinand Park

Saturday, Aug. 20: Rockin’Chair Band (a tribute to an era of great music featuring Crosby Stills and Nash, The Eagles, Poco, Jackson Browne and Loggins & Messina) at St. Ferdinand Park

Saturday, Aug. 27: Fanfare Band featuring Kittie Moller at St. Ferdinand Park

Sunday, Oct. 9: Bob Kuban Brass (Old Town Fall Festival) at 100 rue St. Francois

Because all the concerts are outdoors, attendees are asked to bring their lawn chairs and/or blankets for lawn seating. Light refreshments will be available.
