Hazelwood West, Trinity, LHSN, IWA District Girls Soccer Top Seeds

Hazelwood West, Trinity Catholic, Lutheran North and Incarnate Word Academy are among the top seeds in Distict Girls Soccer, which begins Saturday, May 14, and ends June 1-4 with the State Championships at Swope Soccer Village, Kansas City.
CLASS FOUR, DISTRICT FOUR — McCluer North is the host but the other three teams are all Hazelwood Schools. On May 17 top-seeded Hazelwood West plays fourth-seeded Hazelwood East at 5 p.m. while second-seeded Hazelwood Central plays third-seeded McCluer North at 7 p.m., the winners will then play for the district title May 19 at 4 p.m. and that winner hosts the District Three Champion in the May 24 Sectional. The Quarterfinal game is May 28 site and time TBD while at Swope Soccer Village the Semifinal is June 3, 4 p.m. On June 4 at Swope the Championship game is 4 p.m. while the third-place game is at 12 noon.
CLASS ONE, DISTRICT THREE — Trinity Catholic, third place in 2015, is the top seed and tournament host competing against Four City of St. Louis Schools, three of them St. Louis Public Schools. Trinity will play 6 p.m. May 16 at against a SLPL school — the winner of Saturday’s 4 p.m. game between fourth-seeded Collegiate School of Medicine/Bio Science and fifth-seeded Northwest Academy of Law. Also on May 16 at 4 p.m. second-seeded Metro, a SLPL school, plays third-seeded Crossroads College Prep. May 16 winners play May 17, 6 p.m.with the winner advancing to the May 25 Quarterfinal game at the winner of District Four for the right to play in the June 1 Semifinal at 12 noon at Swope Soccer Village. On June 2 at Swope the Championship game is 2 p.m. and the third-place game is 10 a.m.
CLASS TWO, DISTRICT FIVE — Lutheran North is the top seed and district host opening May 16 against fourth-seeded Jennings at 4 p.m., the same day and time second-seeded McCluer South-Berkeley plays North Technical. Winners return the next day, May 17 for a 4 p.m. game with that winner playing May 21 at the winner of District Six and the Sectional winner plays in the May 25 Quarterfinal, time and site TBD. At Swope Soccer Village the Semifinal is June 1 at 4 p.m. while on June 2 the championship game is at 4 p.m. while the third-place game is at 12 noon.
CLASS THREE, DISTRICT SIX — Incarnate Word Academy begins its quest for their 34th consecutive district title and 10th state title at home May 17 as top seed playing fourth-seeded Vashon at 4 p.m. followed at 5:30 with second-seeded Rosati-Kain against third-seeded Riverview Gardens. Winners play May 19, 4:15 at IWA for the right to host the May 24 Sectional against the District Five Champion.
CLASS THREE, DISTRICT SEVEN — Fourth-seeded McCluer takes on top seeded Fort Zumwalt East May 16, 5 p.m. at Fort Zumwalt South, the number two seed playing the same day at 7 p.m. against third-seeded St. Charles. winners return to Zumwalt South May 19, 6 p.m. for the right to play at the District Eight Champion in the May 24 Sectional.
CLASS THREE STATE — The Quarterfinal game, pitting above Class Three Sectional winners, is May 28, site and time TBD. At Swope Soccer Village the Semifinal game is at June 3, 2 p.m. while the third-place game (10 a.m.) and Championship game (2 p.m.) are played June 4.
