Warrants Issued on Burglary Suspect After Months of Investigation

A burglary suspect is now in custody after Florissant Police have been looking tirelessly for him for the last five months. Wayne M. Collins was arrested by Florissant Detectives on Wednesday May 4^th in the 200 block of Brighton Park Dr. in St. Charles City. Detectives had been looking for Collins in connection with a burglary which occurred at C&C Cell Phone Repair located at 1141 N. Highway 67 in Florissant, on Dec. 17, 2015

On Thursday May 5 The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued warrants for Burglary 2^nd Degree and Felony Stealing on:

Collins, Wayne M. Black Male 6/16/1994 resides in the 2000 block Merollis Walk in St. Louis

Collins is suspected to be involved in similar incidents across the region in St. Louis County, St. Charles County, and Illinois. Collins will be transferred to the St. Louis County Jail and held on a $20,000 bond.
