2nd Annual Senior Resource Fair Attracted More than 450 Seniors

The City of Florissant hosted the 2nd Annual Aging My Way Resource Fair for Seniors and it was a success. Over 450 seniors attended the 2016 Aging My Way Resource Fair that was held on Wednesday, A at the James J. Eagan.   Mayor Tom Schneider was pleased with the turnout that had 75 booths of senior citizen information.

The City of Florissant partnered with the Tri-Parish Nursing Ministry, Memory Care Home Solutions, St. Catherine Retirement Center and Life Care Centers to provide the Aging My Way Resource Fair.

Gift cards were raffled, there were give-a-ways at the booths and free coffee and donuts.

The goal of the fair was to provide information and resources to senior citizens who are “Aging in Place” in their homes and seniors who are considering senior living options such as retirement communities, assisted living and long term care facilities.
