Hazelwood District parents, students and community members are invited to the grand opening of the Hazelwood School District Learning Center on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m., at the HSD Learning Center, 15955 New Halls Ferry Road. The HSD Learning Center features new classrooms for Hazelwood Central Early Childhood and the GALACTIC elementary gifted education program. Other features include new, modern areas for patrons, students and parents. The building underwent renovations and reconstruction last fall and reopened for the students in early August 2008.
