The Valley of Flowers Car Show will feature about 200 cars and take place Saturday, May 2, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. along rue St. Francois Street. Set against the backdrop of the historic business district of Old Town, the Open Class Show will have cars lined up from St. Pierre Street to Lafayette Street. Beginning at 8 a.m. May 2, this section of rue St. Francois will be closed to traffic, with only cars in the show allowed access.

Visitors are encouraged to park on the side streets and take the short walk to the show. Many of the retail shops in Old Town will be open as well.

Registration for the show is $12 in advance and $15 the day of the event. Trophies will be awarded at 3 p.m.. In case of rain, a rainout date is scheduled May 9. For pre-registration and information call 314-837-0033.
