Summer Dance, Sept. 27
A summer dance will be held on Sept. 27 at the James J Eagan Center, from 7–10 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. Music by the Bob Row Band. The cost is $5, includes admission and snacks. Beer, wine and soda will be available for purchase. All tables reserved. Tickets may be purchased at the Florissant Senior Office. There will also be a limited number of tickets available for $7 at the door.
Halloween Party & Bingo
Florissant Senior Halloween Party and Bingo will be held on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 10:15 a.m.-2 p.m. at the James J. Eagan Center. The cost for Florissant senior residents is $6. The party will include lunch, Bingo, attendance prizes and Pot of Gold. An optional costume contest will be held. Entertainment by singer, Gary Bennett, Memories of Yesterday
Craft Boutique
The Florissant Senior Craft Boutique will be held on Saturday, Nov. 8th, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m at the JKF Center, 315 Howdershell Rd. Tables will be provided at no charge to Florissant senior residents. Applications for Florissant seniors are available at City Hall on a first come first serve basis.
Dances at the Savoy in Ferguson
Senior dances are held each Tuesday at the Savoy in Downtown Ferguson from 7-9:45 p.m. Music is by the “Starlighters.” For more information, call Mary, 521-2688 or Nonie, 521-7986.
Ongoing Activities
Adult Club of Florissant will meet at 11 a.m. at the James Eagan Center, lower level second Tuesday of the month Must be a Florissant resident with ID card. Membership fee for club is $10 annually. Call Norman Loebs at 921-0037.
Monday-Wednesday Bingo Club meets weekly, 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., at the James J. Eagan Center.
Florissant Seniors Line Dancing Club meets every Wednesday at the James J. Eagan Center, 12:30-2 p.m. Must be a Florissant resident and have a Golden Age Pass. Registration is not necessary. Couples, groups, and individuals are welcome.
Florissant Seniors Bridge Club meets every Friday, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m., in the Arts and Crafts room at the James J. Eagan Center. A resident ID is required. Bring a sandwich. Coffee will be provided.
Pinochle Club meets every Tuesday, from 7-9 p.m., at the JFK Center at Koch Park, 315 Howdershell Rd. A current Resident Picture I.D. is required. For more information call the Senior Office.
North County Computer Club meets the first and third Friday at 1 p.m. at Prairie Commons Library, 915 Utz Lane in Hazelwood. The club is for seniors desiring to share computer secrets with others. Call 837-6102 or visit www.corcc-stl.com.
