Village North Staff, Residents Color Nigeria Children’s World

Father Ray Iwuji, chaplain of Christian Hospital, has given of his time to Village North residents for two years. When the residents and staff found out he was working on a project for his native country of Nigeria, they wanted to give back to him.

Dozens of boxes of crayons, markers, school supplies and coloring books were collected for the children of his village of Umuechie in Imo State in the southeast area of Nigeria. Father Ray will transport the donated items in a vehicle that is being donated separetely to a priest in his village. Residents bought the items themselves, or those that couldn’t get out donated money for the supplies.
