The Ferguson-Florissant School District will host a workshop provided by The St. Louis Learning Disabilities Association to provide parents with resources and information to more effectively assist their children with homework.

The free workshop will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4 from 6-7 p.m. at McCluer High School, located at 1896 S. New Florissant Road in Florissant. Childcare will be provided.

The workshop, entitled, “Helping Your Child With Homework” will provide practical skills and strategies for parents to help children with assignments, including how to study for tests based on students’ respective learning styles, and how parents can help children develop more independence in completing homework.
