More than 250 jobs are under the Christmas tree at St. Louis Outlet Mall in Hazelwood, the family destination for shopping, dining and entertainment.  As economic signals point to a stronger holiday shopping season this year, at least 40 St. Louis Outlet Mall stores are hiring more than 250 full- and part-time temporary associates for the holiday season as well as permanent, full- or part-time employees.

St. Louis Outlet Mall and its retailers employ approximately 3,000 St. Louisans year-round, and the number grows by nearly 10% during the holiday shopping season.

The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) forecasts a 4.0% increase in sales during the November-December 2014 holiday shopping period, the strongest gain in three years.  Shopping center holiday sales are estimated to reach $488.6 billion in the same period.

These full- and part-time positions include store management and other key-holder positions, sales representatives, cashiers and servers.
