 The Florissant Parks and Recreation Department will offer the Ozzie Smith Hoops Clinic.

Ozzie’s clinics offer a combination of expert training and fun. Clinic consists of training in jump stop, cross over dribbling, between the legs, fitness drills, quickness drills, defensive positioning, reaction drills, mid-range shooting, 3 point shooting, finishing drills, reading passing lanes, and defensive anticipation. Scrimmages enable every camper to learn into practice immediately, helping to reinforce daily lessons and fostering confidence.

The clinics will be offered on Tuesdays from Dec. 21 – Jan 21 (no class 12/23, 12/30) at the Eagan Center.

Ages 4 – 6 will meet from 6 – 6:45 p.m. Ages 7 – 10 will meet from 7 – 8 p.m. Ages 11-14 will meet from 8 – 9 p.m.

Registration begins Oct. 27 for residents and Nov. 3 for non-residents. Fees are $60 for residents and $70 for non-residents.
