A SPECIAL 9/11 CEREMONY HELD AT THE VFW POST 4105 in Florissant
Mayor Thomas P. Schneider was the featured speaker for VFW Ladies Auxiliary and VFW Men’s Auxiliary at the 13th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon by terrorists. This solemn occasion was held on Thursday, September 11, 2014 on the parking lot at 410 Rue St. Francois.
Many of the first responders, veteran organizations that service the Florissant area and their family and friends attended the event which was also open to the public who wished to gather in remembrance of those who perished on that infamous day.
