The City of Florissant announced that it is bringing back the annual Doggie Pool Party at Koch Park Family Aquatic Center on Aug. 15 and 16. This event is designed to give canine friends a cool and relaxing day.

Dogs can enjoy a swim at Koch Park. Dogs will be able to splish and splash while playing with other dogs. Dogs must be friendly with other canines.

All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations and recently bathed. All dogs must wear their I.D. tags and must be on a leash unless they are swimming. Every dog must have their current vaccination records (including DHLPP and rabies) in order to be allowed to swim with all the other canines. These must be written records, not typed.

Pet owners will be required to sign a waiver. To keep the pool sanitary, they must clean up after their dogs.

The cost will be $10 for dog and owner and $3 for each additional guest. Event hours are Friday, Aug. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and Saturday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. – noon.
