The City of Black Jack was presented with a prestigious St. Louis County Municipal League “Muni Award” at the group’s annual award banquet and installation

The City received the award for “Citizen Engagement”, which focused on its efforts in keeping the community informed about local government through the city’s new interactive website and GTN TV, the city’s Multi National Award winning TV Station.

Media Director Randy Gardner said, “It is a great honor to be recognized for our commitment to the community. We are a smaller city in the region, but we try to make a big city impact when it comes to our citizen engagement communication. We are proud to have made such an impact, not only on the residents of our community, but on all communities in the region”.
