Mo. Career Center, St. Louis County Plan 1st Ever Summer Career Fair

Job seekers or employers looking to hire just the right employee should attend the First Annual Summer Career Fair on Tuesday, July 15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the St. Ann Community Center (1 Community Center Drive. Over 50 area employers are expected to attend.

What sets this career fair apart is that trained, Workforce Development professionals will be on hand to assist job-seekers with applying for positions “on the spot.” Job/career seekers will also be able to attend concurrent workshops designed to enhance their job seeking skills. The “How to Work a Job Fair” workshop will provide job/career seekers with valuable insight into how to showcase your skills and talents to prospective employers. The “How to Interview” workshop will teach job/career seekers the skills necessary to successfully navigate the interviewing process.

Employers interested in participating in the Summer Career Fair, should call Michele Cooper, Business Development Officer, at (314) 615-4682 during normal business hours. There is no fee for registration, however booth space is reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis. The Missouri Career Center – Saint Louis County is planning a third, County-wide Career Fair scheduled for October.
