An item on the Calendar page in this week’s issue (June 20) listed a Summer Jazz Festival on Friday, June 21 from 5:30-8 p.m. at Life Care Center of Florissant. The event SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN PRINTED.  The event was a private party for selected people who were invited and  was  not intended for the general public.  The Independent News apologizes for any inconvenience to the the public and Life Skills Center—-Bob Lindsey, Editor-Publisher
