The Alton Visitor Center is now an official MetroTix outlet for people wanting to purchase tickets to one of the city-sponsored concerts this summer at Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater.
General admission and VIP tickets can be purchased with cash or credit card at the Alton Visitor Center during regular hours seven days a week. By purchasing a ticket in person at the Alton Visitor Center, the convenience fee, which ranges from $4 – $5, will be waived. The Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. It is located at 200 Piasa St. in Alton.
GA (General Admission) tickets provide entry to the concert and seating on the general admission lawn area. VIP ticket includes entry to concert, special seating (or standing depending on the show) close to the stage, reserved parking and access to VIP tent on the side of the stage with private concession booth. Concessions (beer, soft drinks, food) are an additional cost and not included in the general admission or VIP ticket.

Tickets may be purchased at venue box office day of show only. Box office is located on south entrance of amphitheater. Liberty Bank Alton Amphitheater is located at #1 Henry St. in Alton, Ill.
The Summer Season
The city-sponsored concert season kicks off Wednesday, July 2 with the Under the Sun Tour featuring Smash Mouth, Sugar Ray, Uncle Kracker and Sister Hazel. This jam-packed concert starts at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. General admission tickets are $28.50 and VIP tickets are $60.
On Thursday, July 3, there will be an Alton Fireworks Viewing Party featuring Tyler Filmore Band, Leslie Craig and the Hellbenders and Nashvegas. Tickets are $10 for general admission and VIP tickets are $20. Doors open at 5 p.m. with the music starting at 6 p.m. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:15 p.m.
The final concert of the year features Kenny Rogers with a special guest on Saturday, Sept. 6. General admission tickets are $35 and VIP tickets are $65. The musical performance begins at 8 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m.
John Michael Montgomery will also be in town on Saturday, June 7 for the Feed the Need concert, which is also being sponsored by the city of Alton and Senior Services Plus. Tickets for this concert are available at SeniorServicesPlus.com.
