The Independent News will once again feature local    golf courses in our “Second Annual Golf Pages” on May 22, June 5 and June 19.  Tom Anselm will be reporting from the St. Louis Country Club with coverage of the 38th Curtis Cup Match.

The Curtis Cup features top amateur women golfers from the United States against the Great Britain team, and runs from June 6 -8.  Admission is free.  St. Louis native Ellen Port, 6 time USGA Women’s Champion and former member of the 1994 and 1006 USA Curtis Cup teams, is the team captain
