3rd Annual Florissant Resident “Free Document Shredding Day”

The 3rd Annual Florissant Resident “Free Document Shredding Day” will be held on Saturday, April 12 at St. Ferdinand Park in the rear parking lot from 9 a.m. – noon.  Residents can bring sensitive tax, bank or financial records from home to be shredded. The following documents are among those that should be shredded: bank statements, tax records, credit card statements, invoices, anything with your name & address on it. There is no need to remove paper clips, binder clips or staples.

Residents may bring up to five bags or boxes.  Types of boxes include copy paper boxes, banker boxes & shoe boxes.  Types of bags include shopping bags, grocery bags and trash bags. No three ring binders, hanging file folders, CD’s, DVD’s or hard-bound books can be shredded.

A resident card is required. The City of Florissant gives a special thanks to Meridian Waste Services for donating the cardboard recycle dumpsters for this event.
