The Ferguson-Florissant School District has named its 2014 Teacher of the Year and Support Employee of the Year.

Mrs. Christine Ries is the District’s Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Ries is a fifth-grade teacher at Combs Elementary School and has served the District for 15 years. In 2013, she received the Elementary Science Teacher of Missouri Award.  

The district named Mrs. Amanda De Krey its 2014 Support Employee of the Year.  Mrs. De Krey is the office manager at Robinwood Elementary School. Mrs. De Krey has served the District for 13 years; first as a building aide at Halls Ferry Elementary School for 8 1/2 years and at Robinwood for the past five years.

Both award recipients were honored on March 12 at the Ferguson-Florissant Board of Education’s monthly meeting.
