Florissant Mayor Thomas P. Schneider has announced that a franchise owner/operator for the national restaurant company Culver’s is under contract for a site in the City of Florissant.

Culver’s now enters the ‘due diligence’ period, which includes zoning, engineering and technical matters.  Site location will be announced when necessary documents are presented to Florissant officials for review.    The Culver’s location in Florissant will be the company’s first in North County and the 11th in the metropolitan St. Louis area.

“Culver’s is excited about the opportunity to develop a restaurant in the City of Florissant,” said Mayor Schneider.  “We look forward to welcoming Culver’s to our beautiful city.”

Culver’s opened its first location in 1984 in Sauk City, Wisconsin.  There are now nearly 500 Culver’s restaurants in 19 states.  According to a survey by the Franchisee Business Review, Culver’s is rated first in franchisee satisfaction by more than 4,300 restaurant franchisees in the United States and Canada.
