Florissant Dog Park Marks Ten Years in City

Entrance to the Florissant dog park located at Duchesne Park. The park is located at 5 Brower Ln., off of Graham Rd. In addition to the dog park, the ten acre Duchesne Park has restrooms, a pavilion with a barbeque pit, a picnic area, and a playground.

The Florissant Dog Park has been in existence for ten years. The park, located in Duchesne Park, is in a fenced-in area where dogs can be off-leash. Only dogs registered with the Florissant Dog Park Club are permitted to use this area. To register your pet, you must bring current vaccination records (rabies and DHLPP). The permit is good until Dec. 31, 2014. Park Hours: 8 am to 11 pm  daily.

The following fees will be effective Jan. 2, 2014.  The permits can be purchased at the JFK or JJE Community Centers.

Residents fees are $20 for the first dog and $10 for the second and third dog. Non-resident fees are $40 for the first dog and $20 for the second and third dog. The fee will be reduced to half price beginning Juily 1, 2014.
