Twilight Christmas House Tour in Ferguson Dec. 8
The Ferguson Twilight Christmas House Tour will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8 from 3 – 7 p.m. Pearce Neikirk and Partners Realtors is sponsoring the tour.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 the day of the tour. Tickets can be purchased at Paul’s Market, Ferguson City Hall, and Corner Coffee House. They can also be purchased at Pearce Neikirk and Partners from noon – 4 p.m. on the day of the tour.
Neikerk said that seven homes will be featured this year, including a 130 year old home, one of the oldest in Ferguson, that sits on 1 and 1/2 acres. Last year, Neikirk said, almost 500 people came for the tour.
“We call it a twilight tour, but we’re starting earlier this year for those people who want to go in the daylight,” Neikirk said.
In addition to the homes, the tour ticket will be good for a drink at Ferguson Brewing Company, Cork Wine Bar, or Vincenzo’s. Other restaurants and shops will open on the day of the tour, including El Palenque, Cathy’s Diner, Cosi Dolce, and Corners.
The tour is bike friendly. Riders can tour on their own, or join a tour hosted by the Ferguson Cycle Shop. There is no additional charge for the bike tour.
All proceeds go to the Ferguson Caring League. The league has been in existence since 1949, Neikirk said. “With the tornados in the last few years, their coffers are low, and this is a nice fundraiser for them,” he said.
