Soroptimist International of Greater St. Louis held its annual fashion show and luncheon on Sat., Nov. 2 at Orlando Gardens in Maryland Heights.  This year’s event, “40 Years of Fashion,” celebrated the 40th anniversary of the founding of the club in North County.

The Elenor Bergfeld Scholarship was presented for the first time.  Elenor Bergfeld was a Soroptimist member for more than 30 years and bequeathed $25,000 to the club upon her recent  death.  A scholarship fund was established with the money and one deserving woman will receive a scholarship each year.

Kelsey Sites, a junior at Maryville University majoring in Physical Therapy, received this year’s $2,500 award.

Fashions from Michelle’s in St. Charles were modeled by Soroptimist members and their friends and relatives.  More than 325 women attended the event.
