Project Hands at St. Catherine Center, 3350 St. Catherine St. Volunteers needed to knit, crochet, and quilt for various children’s organizations the last Friday of every month. 2 p.m.

Trunk or Trunk from 4 – 7 p.m.  at Florissant Valley Christian Church, 1325 N. US Hwy 67. Free event Trick or Treat among the decorated trunk then stop by the fire pit for smores, then go inside for games & crafts, hot dog and drinks. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. (837-6767)

Saturday, Nov. 2

Fall Social at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne Parish and School, 3500 St. Catherine Street. 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Meat Shoot, Shopping and Craft Fair, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Fried Chicken Dinner and Music Under the Stars.

The Florissant Elks Ladies Auxiliary will  have a casual lunch and  more than 15 vendors available, all under one roof. Attendance prizes and raffles.  Call Carol at 395-5054 or Lynda at 838-2067.  A portion of the proceeds will be donated to T.E.A.M., the North County food bank.

St. Ferdinand Ladies Sodality’s  annual Quilt Bingo at the church, 1735 Charbonier Rd. with doors opening at 11 am . Games begin at 1 p.m. in the School Gym 12 Handmade Quilts, Cash Prizes, Raffle, Pull Tabs and refreshments
