The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Opportunity Expo, a hiring event for veterans and other men and women with military backgrounds, at Chaifetz Arena at Saint Louis University, on Thursday, July 11. The event will run from 11 until 3.
RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, personnel who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.
RecruitMilitary will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (http://www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world.
RecruitMilitary expects more than 40 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo.
Already signed up are Lockheed Martin, McDonald’s Corporation, U.S. Bank, HCA – Hospital Corporation of America, First Command Financial Planning, The Home Depot, Prudential Financial, DeVry University, G4S Secure Solutions (USA), C.R. England Inc., Trident University International, Bank of America, Primus Sterilizer Company LLC, Saint Louis University, American Income Life Insurance Company, AMVETS, St. Louis VA Medical Center, Penske Truck Leasing, Heavy Construction Academy, Barnes Jewish Hospital, Toyota – Bodine Aluminum Inc., Walgreens, Nisa Investment Advisors LLC, Intelligrated, The Art Institutes, Oklahoma College of Construction, Allstate, and Swank Motion Pictures.
